See you in the field!

Team Wyldes

  • We have a range of stewarding roles here at The Wyldes. We’ve listed some examples of what you might be doing across the weekend:

    • Stewarding an entrance gate

    • Stewarding a campsite entrance

    • Stewarding a car park

    • Collecting parking fees

    • Directing festival traffic

    • Scanning entry tickets

    • Wristband allocation

    • Information stewards

  • Each Live in The Wyldes weekend has two events, over two nights. View our summer line-up here.

We ask that stewards can commit to 1 x 8 to 10 hour shift per day across an event weekend. We are appreciative of applicants who are available to work multiple event weekends.

Please ensure you are available from 09:30 to 21:00 per event day.

Shifts are likely to vary in their level of activity - this means that at times you may be busy and at others you might be spare. In the event that you are surplus to one area of the site, you might be moved to a different area to help with busy spots.

  • Stewards will be given a General Camping wristband after their shift(s) which includes event entry and camping in the general (tent) camping area.

Stewards are welcome to park in the crew car park, free of charge.

If you’d like to upgrade your camping over the weekend, please get in touch via email to purchase live-in vehicle camping, premium camping or glamping tickets.

  • Our Palloozaville trading area hosts a range of food vendors, serving dishes for all appetites. If you’re on a budget, we encourage you to bring enough food and snacks to keep you going throughout your shifts and the weekend. Camping stoves are permitted in the campsites, but barbecues and fire pits are not allowed.

Tea and coffee making facilities will be available and free to the steward team across the weekend from our welfare hut.

  • You will be working outside across the weekend, in all weathers. Please ensure you have enough warm, waterproof clothing, waterproof (comfortable) boots, a water bottle, suncream, hat and enough food to keep you smiling in the variable Cornish weather!

You will be given a hi-vis vest to wear while stewarding. You will be representing The Wyldes during your shift and are required to be sober and fit for purpose!

  • All shifts are paid at a rate of £12 per hour. Payment will be settled within three weeks of an event weekend via BACS payment.

All stewards will be given a general camping wristband which includes entry into the event following your shift.
